Me to You :)

I nearly did a flip when I saw the advert in issue 26 of Docrafts mag for the new Me to You/ Tatty Teddy range! I couldn't wait till it came out and snapped up the card stock stickers, papers (which I defo  need more of!!) and a few of the rubber stamps.

I rushed them home and as it was half term had time to play with them. I decided to make a special 21st birthday card for a friend and this is what I came up with:

I'm well impressed with how well the colours match! Not a bad card for me considering it only took an hour. These things can sometimes take me forever but it all came together quite nicely.

So this is what I used:

• 5 by 5 white card blank folded to make an easel shape
• Me to You/Tatty Teddy card stock stickers and 6x6 papers
• Pink card (which weirdly looks two different shades in the photos) 
• LOTV sentiment stamp
• Tiny flat backed pearls
• MS little butterfly punch coloured with a PM.
• Circle and scalloped circle nesties
• Card candi

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

• Craft us crazy - something new or favourite embellishment (new me 2 u stash and my favourite embellishments at the moment are card candi!)
• A spoon full of sugar - anything goes
• Truly Scrumptious - anything goes

Still on placement! I typed this up two weeks ago when I was actually off school ill. I think it was the stress and a bug combined - not good at all :( Anyway all better now and only two weeks to go! Love the school and the kids but I cant wait till I actually have a life instead of spending all of my time in front of a computer planning or constantly thinking about placement. It feels like I'm jumping through a lot of hoops at the mo!
