Something for Mothers Day....

and its not purple!!!!
What an achievement lol! Yup I have a pink card to share today lol.

I used my new LOTV Bunches of love stamp that I bought from GNPE. I also used the new Mother's Day sentiment from LOTV and my new card candy. I coloured it up with the ole Promarkers and added stickles to the gorgeous WOC roses.

Now the paper and the fact that it is plain well um yup lol. I go through these random phases of not using any patterned paper - how odd! Is it just me ??!!

Anyway I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

So day 8 of placement and I am still alive - just. I spent most of last night crying my eyes out because I taught my first lesson yesterday afternoon and basically it went up in flames :( (not literally!) but I went in today and laid down the law! And had a much better lesson this morning - lets hope R.E. is the same tomorrow. Cross your fingers lol!!

So off I go, we've just got a new oven and I'm dying to try it out! I couldn't turn the old one on myself because the pilot had gone and my arms are simply not long enough to reach to the back with a match!
I'll hopefully be back soon!

Hi everyone!

Long time no post from me - AGAIN!!

I have the excuse that I started placement on Monday and already have loadssss to do and last week was spent tying up all the loose ends at uni.

I did get a day off on Saturday though and guess where I went .......

                                  GNPE in Harrogate !!!!!!!

My amazing bf took me all the way to Harrogate only to stand behind me holding my bags for four hours bless him! I spent an immense amount of money that Ive been saving for ages and got some awesome stuff - namely a lot of LOTV stamps (and a few old), some nesties and some FAB craftwork cards stuff! Ive always liked craftwork cards stuff but have never actually bought any but I am now in LOVE  with them and have a wish list of stuff I want from their website lol! I had a brilliant day and felt like a kid again. It was fab knowing that the things that I wanted I could actually buy instead of just looking and drooling!

Anyway enough about my brilliant day at my first ever craft show lol I have another purple card to show you all.

Now I swear I hid of my purple stash but it managed to worm its way on to this card!

The stamp is the ever so cute Ellie from Stamposaurus. I love her to bits! I coloured her with promarkers and gave her a little MS butterfly. I really like the simplicity and white space on this card for some reason!

Anyway I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Well off to do some planning! I get to teach my first lesson next week :s Its Science so I'm making it nice and practical lol!

Some sunshine!

You hooo!

Just a quick post to show you a very sunshiny card I made :)

I was clearly inspired by the sunshine we've been having for the last few days because this card turned out to be yellow of all colours! Not a very yellow person but I am sooo pleased how this turned out! I have had a whole box of these images decoupaged up for ages sitting  in my craft corner so I thought it was about time I used it lol.
I used a Forever Friends Springtime decoupage bear, papers and sentiment from the same range.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Hope you are all well. No where further with the science assignment :( but we have found out our placements ......and I'm miles away so again :(
Never mind I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end!

A thank you

Just a quick post to say thank you very much to Sarah for this award!

As I have already had this award I am running out of people to pass it onto!

And I know I am supposed to pass this onto 3-5 people but nearly everyone else I follow has either had it or has over 3000 followers!

But I would like to pass this award onto Sharon.

Please check out their blogs there are some brilliant makes!

Bye for now!

Hello everyone!
I managed to finish the History assignment woop woop so while I had a bit of spare time I thought I should maybe get a bit if a head start on the 'Thank You' cards for placement.

As soon as I saw Teacher Anya from The Greeting Farm I NEEEEEEEDED it! As I'm training to be a teacher I knew it would come in handy lol.

I used the sketch over at Anyone for Anya with Basic Grey papers and some translucent gems and flowers.
Now these papers well they were one of those "ooo I really like those " impulse buys. And they have sat in a drawer for few months and every time I have seen them I have been annoyed with myself because I really don't like them but I have forced myself to use them and to be honest I am really pleased! Moral of the story Rachael is to push yourself once in a while!

Anyway I used the good ole promarkers to colour Anya in and tried for my life to give her hair a bit of shading. I found some distress inks and tried to distress the edges a bit too.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

So I am off to start the NEXT assignment lol this one is Science and doesnt look too bad (she says!).

Speak soon
