Forever Friends Fortnight - Pastel Colours

Well this is a bit late isn't it! Only a week!! I didn't have time to post for I left for Guide camp, which was AWESOME by the way lol, so I'm posting now before I go on my next holiday tomorrow!

So you still have a week left to join in with the new challenge at Forever Friends and co which is 'Pastel colours'. This wasn't a hard one considering most of the cards I make involve pastel colours!

Two in one

Two cards in one post tonight as I'm off camping in the morning for the week with my Guides! I am soo excited! Still not packed yet (as usual!) so on a bit of a tight schedule!

My first card is a lovely purple creation for a purple mad friend's 21st birthday.

I followed the fab sketch by Dena over at Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge.

                 Finally gave in to buying some cherry blossoms and sweet blossoms from Wild Orchid Crafts!

I used Suzi with Bunny from Wee Stamps. I absolutely adore this image and have coloured her up so many different ways. I just cant seem to colour her enough!

This is what I used:

6" by 6" card blank

Suzi with Bunny digi stamp coloured with Promarkers

Papermania Henbury lane papers

WOC bakers twine in plum

WOC cheery blossoms and sweet blossoms sprayed with Perfect Pearl mist

LOTV circle sentiment stamps, circle and scallop nesties

TRG clear dew drops.

The next card is another 21st birthday card for a friend.

I forget about my TGF stamps sometimes (shame on me I know!) which is bad because these cuties are fabulous to colour!

This is what I used:

my card blank started at 6" by 6" but I ended up cutting it to this random shape!

Forever Friends Fortnight challenge - Not a square

Its that time again for another fab challenge over at Forever Friends!

This fortnight we are sponsored by Stitchy Bears Digital Stamps who kindly gave the DT some fab images to work with!

I was instantly drawn to this little bear in the woods.  I love the outdoors and can't wait to spend a week camping with my Guides in a few weeks then a week at Centre Parks with the BF!

I have one or two male birthdays coming up so thought I'd give a male card ago. My word it was it hard! First of all it has no embellishments!! Oh well I love the shades of blue lol and I'm happy with the shape as I seem to be stuck in a 'square' card phase at the mo!

Also for some reason naughty Mr Blogger won't let me comment on all the wonderful blogs that have their comment box embedded into the post :( When I go to select a Google account I constantly get logged in and out. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this happens? Its fine when the comment box appears in a new window just not when its at the bottom of a post.Its extremely frustrating not being able to comment!!!!

LIM 21 - Sketch

Havn't joined in over at LIM for a while so thought I'd give the sketch a go and I have come to the conclusion that I can't make clean and simple cards!!

I think the sketch is fab (shown below) and had loads of ideas until it came to actually making the thing lol .

Anyway this is what I came up with:

The light is terrible on these photos!

I bought the Doodlebug sizzlets dies last year sometime and made lots of these little ice creams and some cupcakes too. They are coloured with PM's and I have used little seed beads as sprinkles.

I dont think theres anything wrong with the ice creams just the rest of the card lol! And I dont think that black sentiment looks at all right but I was running out of time and couldnt think of anything else to do (what an excuse!)
